She was registered in 1984 by Grassicks in Perth and had two owners in the first 3 years, being bought in 1986 by a Mr Hastie, from Perthshire, it was then registered in his wifes name in 1987 for the next 27 years.She was fully serviced by Grassicks with 11 stamps until 1995, up until 55,000 miles, it was then serviced independently at 64,000 and 79,000 in 2006.The car was sold in 2018 to a Dundee man who then spent money having a new radiator, various other parts on the car replaced.Looking at the MOT history Mrs Hastie had it MOT'd in 2006 and 2007 before it was put on sorn until 2014 when it was re-commissioned needing brake pipes and components replaced. It was then not used until 2016 when it needed minor fixes to pass, wheel nuts missing(lockers removed i guess) wiper blades etc.It was sorned in 2017 and since has been on the road but only covering a few hundred miles in 4 years.I bought the car in 2019 and have spent money overhauling the fuel injection from Injectors cleaned to new fuel pump, regulators, ECU updated and various other service parts, plugs, leads, Crank sensors etc.The interior is lovely seats are fantastic recaro's in black original BMW and no signs of wear, carpets are great with over-mats.All 4 windows work, just need regualr use, as does the sunroof although it needs lubricated to go fully back.The computer and radio do not currently work but did before the ECU's were removed for updates, so i guess a poor connection.The paintwork in Henna red, lovely overall with almost no blemishes , The panels are straight with no filler or rot evident, doors are great again no rust. Wheels are the original TRX with plenty of tread.Mechanically she is superb, loads of power and a quiet engine with no smoke on acceleration or overrun, gearbox is smooth, no knocks or clunks, just a really smooth drive.All service books are with her, old MOT's etc. She is kept in a bubble and not used in bad weather or the winter.
