About this vehicleThis 1979 Lincoln Continental mark V is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is not regularly driven.Seller's NotesThis is a good solid car, it's not a show car but has the chance to be one. It's the cleanest 79 Lincoln I've seen .The few times I've driven it and put gas in it or drove it around the block, somebody always wants to look at it and comment how nice it is.Vehicle Details

I bought this car in an estate auction. The family had bought it new in Sarasota Florida and the husband got ill with covid. Unfortunately the husband passed away in the hospital. The car is showing 44,000 Miles and I was told it's correct and is the original mileage.

It's a collector series, It has all the original umbrella, original spare tire ( don't think it's ever been on the ground) cb radio(works) and even the original radar detector that was bought new in 1979.(works).

Eight track tape player, original 400 c.i. runs great.

The AC blows good but not cold, I'm sure it needs a charge.

Headlights rollover and function 100%.

The interior is in excellent condition, all seats and carpet look great, headliner has no sags etc.

Trunk is super clean, engine compartment is clean with original stickers.

Clock DOES NOT WORK, I haven't looked into it.

Power moonroof works great.

At sometime the owner had run a bead of silicone around the sunroof I guess thinking he had a leak.(I'm sure it was just a clogged sunroof drain)

I removed the silicone and cleaned the drain. No leaks.

Theres still reminants of the silicone around the sunroof.(see pix)

I would think it might compound out or wet sand out.(it's not that bad)

The car appears to have had a little prior touch up and spot work but paint looks good.

The front passenger fender has a few Rock chips.

The car is solid and solid underneath.

There's 1 small spot in the door jam w a tiny spot of surface rust, very small.easy fix.

It drives down the highway smooth at 75 mph, hits the road good.

It's currently parked in storage, the car has spent most of its life in a garage.

I've driven it probably 50 Miles since owning it.
