FOR SALE BY PRIVATE OWNER 1968 Buick WILDCAT* Stunning* Gorgeous.* Absolutely DAZZLINGWe are only the 2 nd PROUD owners of this beautiful Wildcat.
When we got it years ago, it was from the original owner!
She was the nicest little old lady.
Her and her late husband had bought it new.
The car has exceptionally low mileage. Only 46,000 miles.Mileage is documented !!!This is the REAL mileage, with provenance.Including original oil change stickers, in the driver's door jam, complete with mileage and dates. This car has always been cherished and a definite "Pride-&-Joy" automobile. Garage kept... ALWAYS.Absolutely minimal minimal exposure to UV rays Interior LIKE NEW.Mouldings, seals, weatherstrips LIKE NEWChrome LIKE NEWPlastic lenses LIKE NEWAll 4 original T 3 headlights LIKE NEWThis is a PREMIUM PREMIUM PREMIUM automobile !!!Please note, this car has NEVER been RESTORED.
Restored cars try to replicate factory standards but, seldom are done to the factory standards and degree.
There's almost always wind noise, rattles, or something. This car is amongst the few proud factory originals left.
I would call it a lightly preserved survivor car. Deviances from 100% factory stock:We had the car lowered. It had a static drop.It rides BETTER !!!The car was treated to a paint correction. The original paint was:Clay bar'd.Quadruple-stage polished (3 days!)There were several small lower body rust bubbles. They were very isolated. We had them cut out completely, new metal carefully welded in.The areas were properly prepped, and micro-painted to match PERFECTLY.When we were pursuing purchase of this Wildcat, the widow was somewhat hesitant. That said, she liked us very much and we promised her we would preserve their wonderful car that her and her beloved late husband cherished so much. We spent big dollars living up to our promise and having everything done RIGHT.
Even all the exterior chrome and stainless was carefully removed, and show polished to a brilliant gleam. Seldom do such beautifully treated cars of this vintage come up.
On Oct-18-21 at 20:31:44 PDT, seller added the following information:
Details, etc: The car is currently located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. (Ebay has no provision for those with multiple residences). Important to note is: Because of it's age, and domestic build:IT IS FREE OF ANY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS.Title is 100% US transferrable. Shipping to most states is in the $1,500 - 2,000 range. Further destinations like Texas and Florida, expect approximately 2,250. I'd to budget for 2,500 or more to play on the safe side. We always suggest playing on the safe side.
My wife has gotten pretty good at setting up shipping.
She would be happy to set this up for you.
We have even had experience shipping to Europe .
Please inquire if that's your case. I've tried to remember and put down everything I can think of. If I have forgotten anything, or you have some questions, please write.
Happy Bidding !!! Attention Buick fans : Please also see our other listing 1970 Buick GSX !!!(tribute / recreation)
