1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged I bought in poor condition in 2016. I immediately replaced the timing belt & drive belts (Gates brand), new Gates water pump, replaced front & rear coil springs as the ones in it were too short and car had zero suspension. The car rides stiff - not knowing the original spring rates I used 200LB in front and 300LB rear. It has Tokico adjustable strut cartridges. I replaced front & rear brake pads and bought new front drilled rotors. Previous owner installed stainless braided brake hoses. I replaced right rear wheel bearing (name brand - not a cheap import) as well as inner CV boot & replace the CV joint ball bearings with new ones. A new Exedy clutch kit was installed in 2017 by a factory trained Toyota mechanic (retired). A rebuilt alternator was installed earlier this year. Seats were replaced - seat covers are vinyl and still has original leather as I recall under the vinyl. Steering wheel is Momo and I do not have the original wheel nor original shift knob. I had the car repainted at a body shop in Santa Cruz CA to the original red in 2 stage paint. A new windshield was installed at time of repaint. The wheels are powder coated metallic silver.  4 wheel alignment was performed in Oregon. There is a front end shimmy that affects the steering wheel - an annoying vibration as 1 of the front rims has run out, 2 of the rear rims also have a mild run out so there is no chance of just swapping wheels to remedy. The tires are about 1/2 worn and are Doral brand but are fairly sticky. 1 new tire is included with the car. Video with walk around and wheel shimmy, copy & paste link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPJbjL4SEAgThe car runs great and handles well but 2nd gear grinds on a downshift, But ! sale includes another SC transmission and spare SC driveshafts. Never been on a Dyno since I owned it. When I replaced the belts I discovered it has an oversize crank pulley which will make supercharger run faster than normal when it engages. The car has a header and HKS exhaust on it. Where I live we are smog exempt but you should check if a header is an issue where you reside. I do not have original manifold. When I replaced the alternator I degreased the underside of the engine up to the head but on occasion a drip will land on the exhaust/burn off and I can spell it in the cockpit. One last thing that is annoying, for me anyway, when I pull up to a stop sign the engine drops in RPMs and might stall. I have not had it checked but it's not annoying enough I really care. The air dam was repainted but not installed, the rear deflector has a lot of hairline fractures, so I had it painted red - didn't like it so it's not installed but is included. It has the sun shields inside the T Tops. Good tint on T Tops as well. T Tops leak water even though seals are factory new replacements. Power windows - both work from driver door but from passenger side will only work on the roll up - needs new switch?  Square holes in both sides inside of front bonnet - see photo & paint nicks as shown in photo. Payment balance by cash or Wells Fargo bank check. Car is in suburbs of White City OR 97503.
