Porsche 1968 911/912 SWB 2.0litre race car.Incredible spec.Road Registered.

Offered for sale is my 68 Porsche race car.I personally imported this race car from California earlier this year.It now is fully uk registered on a 1968 F registration.This is very unusual for a race car but a great bonus and the fact it can be driven on the road.It has had lights, wipers and side windows fitted at the moment. This car would be the perfect entry for the new Porsche club race series .The Spec is incredible and could not be built for the money its being sold for.The car was very competitive in the states and has only a few hours since an extensive re-build.It has race a few times at 12 hours of Sebring .I have listed below some snippets of the advert from when I purchased it. The car now has Group 4 torque thrust period looking wheels on it as seen in some of the pics.They can be swapped for the 15 inch Fuchs if preferred.Completely sorted and is HSR/ SVRA compliant. The interior is equipped with a full fire system, Race Tech seat, Momo steering wheel, and an AIM High-Performance Digital Dash. The current engine has been through one event and was assembled by a well-known race team. Suspension and transmission have been gone through. The cost of the engine rebuild was $60,000 alone. Complete with logbook . Highlights from the engine build include: Sand cast aluminum 2.0 Liter case, Lightened Pauter crankshaft, NOS grooved Glyco main bearings, Pauter steel rods, Clevite rod bearings, GT 3 oil pump, Straight cut IMS gear set, Supertec cylinder head stud set, 81 mm CP custom pistons, Comp ratio: Currently 13.5:1 (Approx), 81 mm Nikasil cylinders, Twin plug cylinder heads, 39/36 ports, 45/39 valves, Elgin 314/296 cams, Cam driven mechanical gear oil pump, PMO tall manifolds, 46 PMO carbs, Jarvis twin plug distributor, Oil bypass mod, Late chain box mod. Fully sorted and race-ready. Bhp is approx 220 hp.

As you car see the spec is incredible and the suspension is rose jointed with a lot of elephant racing parts ..This is an incredible car and a real head turner.Fantastic ready made race race and a very quick road car!Change of plans means this car is available to enjoy and race!!Please only genuine, serious enquiries .I can be contacted on 8.
