This 1974 Triumph TR6 is powered by a 2.5-literinline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in dark blue over a black interior. Features include a black convertible top, chrome bumpers, dual SU carburetors, an S2-specification camshaft, a Monza exhaust system, and an AM/FM radio. The car reportedly spent time in Illinois, where it was refurbished during previous ownership, and it was acquired by the seller in 2017 and relocated to Kansas City.

Services performed reportedly included an alignment, a valve adjustment, refurbishment to the transmission, and replacement of the clutch and rear brake components. This TR6 is now offered with a tonneau cover, a boot cover, spare parts, service records from current ownership, a maintenance spreadsheet dating back to 2006, and a clean Kansas title in the seller's name.

The exterior was refinished in its current shade of dark blue in 2012, and features a black convertible top and a replacement boot cover as well as chrome bumpers, a Talbot-style left-side mirror, Union Jack decals, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller reports cracks in the paint and wear on the convertible top.

Steel 15″ wheels feature TR6-logo center caps installed in 2006, polished trim rings, and Douglas Xtra Trac II tires that were installed in 2013.  A temporary spare is located under the trunk floor. Records indicate that the frame was strengthened and adjustable rear control arms were installed in 2008, and the suspension was overhauled in 2010. During prior ownership, the rear brake components were replaced and a four-wheel alignment was performed.

Originally delivered with blue upholstery, the high-backseats were reupholstered in black with matching carpets and door panels in 2012. Features include a refinished woodgrain dashboard, a lockable glove box, a wooden shift knob, Triumph-branded rubber floor mats, a heater, and an AM/FM radio. The shift knob and radio were replaced in 2006.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames refurbished Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and additional gauges displaying fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage. 90k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.5-liter inline-six was overhauled in 2016 with replacement bearings, rings, valve guides, gaskets, and water and oil pumps, and a reground S2-specification camshaft was fitted in 2017 along with dual SUH6 carburetors. Services performed during current ownership include a valve adjustment and retorquing the cylinder heads in 2017, refurbishment to the distributor in 2019, and an oil change in 2020. The seller states that the factory emissions controls have been removed.

The replacement data plate lists a manufacture date of October 1973 as well as chassis, paint, and trim numbers, which match there moved factory data plate that is included in the sale and shown in the gallery below.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission that was refurbished in 2017, and the clutch components and driveshaft universal joints were replaced at the same time. The clutch cylinders were replaced in 2020, and the car is fitted with a Monza exhaust system.
