Up for sale is a 1986 Jeep grand wagoneer. The Jeep is a Perfect candidate for restoration. The previous owner had the car for about 20 years and 15 years it was stored in the garage. I originally bought the car for a winter vehicle but decided that I would buy something newer and let someone enjoy this classic jeep the way that it should be enjoyed. A little about the car the car engine was rebuilt at 150,000 miles. recently it had a complete new exhaust system put on. As well as a heavy duty battery installed. the previous owner rebuilt the distributor. rebuilt the radiator. new fly wheel.new starter.new rear engine seal.new timing chain. and a rebuilt transfer case.the transmission at that time was flushed and serviced. That was about six thousand miles ago.and a few years ago. The steering box requires some attention. There is play in the wheel. The jeeps starts right up everytime. However after driving it around town the last few days I feel it needs a tune up as well. . The electric Windows and tailgate window require attention. You can hear motor but windows not always working. The drivers window does work. This Jeep would make an excellent restoration project or just drive as is. Again I have only had this car about a month. I Purchased with the intent to use as a winter vehicle but realize that that would not be practical for the age of the car.
