1958 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Roadster Item Details A fully custom Corvette with a GM Performance LS-powered crate engine and polished Tremec 6-speed manual transmission with hydraulic clutch. This ‘Vette comes equipped with a polished aluminum driveshaft, custom-built frame, Corvette C 4 polished suspension with coilovers, Dana 44 rear end, power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, Street & Performance headers, power rack & pinion steering, Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans, and custom polished radiator support. It rides on 18" front and 19" rear EVOD billet aluminum C 1 Corvette custom wheels with Michelin Pilot sport tires. The exterior is painted in a special mix by PPG-dubbed Hot Hues Dark Gray Metallic with silver coves. The interior is finished in red leather with custom reclining seats, matching custom door and kick panels, shifter boot and trim. It also sports a custom dash with a carbon-fiber gauge cluster and shift knob, Classic Instruments gauges, custom center console with a Retro Sound Bluetooth stereo/phone system, Flaming River tilt steering column and a Con 2 R custom red leather steering wheel. This ‘Vette also features custom Autoloc headlights, power hood and trunk operated by Autoloc computer controls, keyless remote door entry system, and a custom hardtop and headliner. It does not have a soft-top. The build, completed several years ago, took over two years to complete with no expense spared, and the car has been kept in a climate-controlled collection since. It comes with four extra C 6 Corvette chrome wheels with special color accents, a build picture book, maintenance records and other information.
