We started with a very solid 1984 Carrera which had been waxoiled everywhere was previously owned by Mark Sumpter of PARAGON back in 1995 before that Mark King of Stuttgart Connections carried out their 964 conversion. I bought the car in 2009 with the intention of making a Fast Road ( Track ) Car.
So the project started we stripped the car of all body panels and interior removed the engine and gearbox ( which required a rebuild )
All engine and gearbox. suspension. exhaust. span > roll cage and electrics where carried out by Rennspeed. Porsche Specialists. While that was being done we set about fitting genuine steel Porsche wings and bonnet. Front and rear bumpers and duck tail are all GF.
Then we turned to the heating system we removed all fans and designed and fitted an all manual system which works very well .
After that we stripped all glue from inside the cab as well as the engine bay and repainted it all . Then we fitted Southbound light weight carpets and RS door panels and 2 BF Torino Rally Seats at a cost of £1572. 00 for the pair. Roll cage was then fitted.
It was time for the engine and gearbox to be reunited with the car complete with SSI system. new clutch all new mounts. span > sensors. cables just about everything was renewed .
The wheels were back and refurbished fitted with new Continental tyres then it went to be painted at one of the best paint shops in our area
The total cost of conversion was over £21000. 00 plus the cost of the car . now it was done we felt it was to good to thrash round a track and since the build was finished 8/9/2010 the car as done 1200 miles

This car drives like no other Porsche I have ever driven so rapid and the sound is just addictive.
Drive this then a standard 3. 2 and you can not believe this was once that DULL !!!!
