1967 HONDA S 800 SILVER

welcome to my auction for my muched loved Honda s800. ive owned the car since 2006. bought the car in the midlands which had been dry stored for many years and was a none runner. I got it back put new plugs fresh petrol and a battery on and of it started. even though it smoked more than me so the engine was pulled out it had a rebore new pistons and rings. the head was sent away and had the modified valve guides and new stem seals valves recut and built up. nd refitted. after taking it up the road I then found the gearbox bearings to be noisey so that was stipped and new bearings fitted. he car also had new clutch and brake master cylinder seals. rear wheel cylinder seals and anything else it needed to get back on the road. the engine is original engine for the car all numbers match log book its a great little engine which is twin overhead cam four carbs and needle roller crank which will reach over 10. 00 rpm with ease. the body in all fairness could do with a respray it is very presentable but does have some blistering on various places my intensions was to get it done but as of yet never got round to it but is presentable and would not stop new owner getting some fun out of it. the wheels are original with original hub caps and it had new tyres fitted by me when it was put back on the road the tyres are still like new. the car has a webasto sun roof which works fine with no rips and is weather proof. the chrome work is ok I got a chap to rechrome bumpers. rill. eadlight surrounds. ear light surrounds. idnt do a fantastic job but looked fine better than the rust on it. so could do with doing at some point but is presentable. the rest of chrome is original. he interior is original seats are good for age of car the dash is good. ould do with new carpets at some point. I replaced the steering wheel with a nicer one but I have original to go with car. this is a very reluctant sale as Iam losing my storage for it and I don't want to leave it outside. t never fails to put a smile on your face when your out in it it sounds fantastic going down the road. t has taken me to wales a lot and never let me down. lways starts and gets lots of attention where ever you go. hese cars are getting rare now so would be a good investment. I will take more pictures of it in the next few days and put them on. I also have a number of spare parts that I will be listing or will sell as a job lot thanks for looking
