1992 Chevy 454 ss Truck
Owned for the last 15 years. original. 7. 4 L Big Block C 1500 'SS
Here we have one of the last big block 454 ss trucks ever to be made in rare victory red. The truck was originally imported new by Bauer Millett of manchester in 1992. I have owned this truck over 15 years. The truck had just over 19. 00 miles when I purchased it in June'98 and it has now only covered 68. 00 miles.
I have almost all MOT's and Tax Disc's. It is Taxed and MOT'd until Feb 2014. The original service manual wit h first dealer stamp.
All original GM keys/locks etc.
It comes with the later 4-speed auto coupled to the iconic 7. 4 ltr Big Block.
It has the optional power remote chrome mirrors. Original SS chome wheels/center-caps and 275/50 r 15 tyres. Comes with the very rare grey-cloth interior.
It has a custom Hayward & Scott stainless steel side-exit exhaust.
Recent new battery (still under warranty).
Centre cubby-box/seat including slide-adjustable base and (lap)seatbelt.
It has a full Load Lok bed liner.
Clifford remote lock alarm (2 x working remotes).
Air Lift rear-assist only air shocks and light-duty compressor with
inboard controls .
It also has a colour-coded hard Tonneau cover which is not pictured.
Overall its a very clean and solid pickup but please bear-in-mind it is a 21 year old truck with some original wear.
There is some sun blistering/lacquer peeling on the rear passenger-side quarter and a slight scrape on the drivers-side rear arch (pictured). This happened a few years ago but hasn't rusted as I believe it has a galvanised bed. Unfortunately the A/C has come up for a re-gas but in 15-years i have only done this myself once so i'm assuming there is nothing unusual here.
