Up for your purchase is a restored 1968 Pontiac Firebird solar red/red interior Convertible with factory air conditioning and power black convertible top (all original colors). Car is mostly original, it has all original drive train (originally had 2 speed powerglide but I put turbo 350 transmission in for better highway driving and have original trans that goes with car. It has been completely gone over in the past 4 years, body was done in 2018 and consisted of new front fenders, new doors, full floor pans, trunk pan, and rear quarters. Very little body filler was used in the restoration and body was painted in original Pontiac solar red color, under body was epoxy undercoated to eliminate rusting. Paint and body are 8-9 out of 10 with a couple minor imperfections and could easily be show quality with spot wet sand and buffing. Original motor was just professionally rebuilt, all engine components were balanced, heads were redone with new valves and cylinders bored 30 over with new bearings and rings and mild comp cam. Engine has less than 100 miles on it. Complete interior along with convertible top were done this year(also included is a original type black top cover). Rally rims were also blasted and repainted with new trim rings and brand new tires. I have PHS documents that go with car. A few minor upgrades were done to make the car more modern and drive able, the list includes:-Summit racing 4 bbl. with electric choke and edelbrock aluminum intake-Aluminum 3 core radiator-Power front disc brakes-Power windows (front and quarter windows)-custom autosound stereo with front and under seat speakers and bluetooth capability Everything works as it should on the car and it is a pleasure to drive, it turns heads everywhere! These cars are getting harder to find and are only going up in value! Car has been gone over thoroughly but is being sold "as is" with no warranty.
