1949 Mercury 2 door coupe I was building into a period correct patina style Kustom. Runs and lot drives. All of the hard work has been done. Countless hours fabricating and carefully butt welding body panel patches. New floors and rocker panels. 1953 Desoto grill with partially fabricated grill pan (not yet welded in place nor are teeth attached). Completely rebuilt 276 flathead (.125 over) and rebuilt transmission with new clutch. New fuel tank and lines. All new brakes and lines. Frame was thoroughly wire brushed and painted with rust encapsulator. Firewall was painted with Eastwood 2 k under hood black. Interior has seat frames, garnish moldings, and a 1950-51 dash shell, no gauges. Steering wheel has been restored and steering column has been rewired. Custom bullet tail lights installed and some emblems have been shaved. No wiring except basic engine ignition. No exhaust other than the manifolds. Radiator leaks a tad. Images
