1967 Lincoln Continental for sale
Current customer rating:
1967 Lincoln Continental.
Selling for a customer who recently had a custom Lincoln Cont Convertible built so he decided to sell his hardtop now that his convertible is finished.
Originally built a few years back by a shopin Arizona called Notorious Auto Designs. Car was driven less than a couple thousand miles since it was completed. It appears it was a west coast car most of its life being purchased out west and especially becausethere appears to be no rust issues anywhere on the car, under it, on any panels, hood or deck lid on top or under.
Sheet metal seems verystraight and solid which is a rarity with 60's Lincolns.
INTERIOR:
This 67 Lincoln Continental had the interior completely redonethroughout. New Leather/vinyl mixture seats, new door panels, new headliner, newcarpet, brand new floor mats with embossed Lincoln emblem, new leather wrappeddash, custom built center console housing with a touch screen head unit, modernwindow switches and air ride switches.
Window motors are fast and strong. Interiorchrome and stainless is in very nice condition with no pitting.
Door handles, door pulls, door lock nobs, stainlesstrim on front seats, etc looks really great. Door kick plates were also wrappedin black leather vinyl material and new custom machined and etched Detroit Deviant Lincoln Continental step plates were installed . Super clean, modern and classic look.
All new door rubber seals around doors and roof / window areas, trunk, engine cowl and hood bumper / guides. Door Jams and B pillar area is nice and clean.
STEREO:
Custom built trunk enclosure with brand new 12 inch new Kicker speakers.
The custom built enclose hides the new 1000 Watt Kicker amp, 2 compressors and 2 air tanks (keeps compressors quite whenthey are running), Mids/Highs. Head unit is bluetooth capatible so just connects to your cell phone to play your music. Sounds awesome.
AIR RIDE:
The car has air ride with tubular upper and lower front controlarms, a robust rear 4 link set up, 2 ride tech compressors and 2 5 gallon airtanks flush mounted under the subfloor in the truck. Car just about lays very close to the pitch welds so it sits super flat and low even with 22 inch wheels.
WHEELS/TIRES:
Clean 22 inch Coys C 33 s steel wheels powder coated satinblack with a ¾ inch white painted strip to give the large diameter tire a whitewall look.
Lexani tires are in newcondition and tread wise. Wheels and tire look brand new.
CHROME:
The chrome on the entire car has been re chromed throughout.
The chrome was professional done and it shows nicely with no issues.
All of the external peaktrim, roof trim, windshield trim, etc
hasalso been professionally polished and looks really nice. Super cool, tastefuland clean exhaust tips custom routed to come out of the rear bumper where the stockreverse lights use to be.
LIGHTS:
All of the light lenses are in great shape on the rear ofthe car and are tinted / smoked and headlights appear to be new.
ROOF:
The vinyl roof was professionally re done after the car waspainted.
It looks brand new with zeroissues.
Black color looks great with nofading, scratches, tears or peeling.
GLASS:
New aftermarket windshield so the windshield looks new withno chips and the old factory faded tan tint strip at the top is not there.
Instead it has a cleaner new 2020 factory lightblack tint strip look to it on the top.
All 4 doorsand both vent windows have very nice glass and the chrome around all 6 windowsis close to flawless with no damage or chrome pitting.
PAINT:
Paint is a bright white with a very slight silver flakewhich you can see slightly in the sunlight.
Paint looks good overall and shines well but has some imperfections hereand there. Few example pictures included.
Car was in the Scrapping the Coast car show in Texas back in 2018 (picture attached). Looks good but not perfect.
ENGINE/TRANSMISSION:
Original 462 engine and C 6 transmission. Miles appear tohave rolled over showing 01,709 on the odometer (101,709 miles).
Don't truly know it the engine was everrebuilt but it sounds healthy, exhaust sounds mean but not too loud, pullsstrong with no issues and the Transmission shifts smooth as normal. Under thehood, the engine and engine bay looks pretty clean and presentable.
No loose wires hanging or choppy stuff in theengine bay. New hood heat pads were installed as well.
For the short time we had the car, weinstalled a new starter, new alternator, new belts, professionally cleaned the fueltank and painted it, installed a new fuel sending unit, new oil filter, fuelfilter, air filter, all fluids changed (including rear axle gear oil and seal),installed electrical fuel pump and a professionally rebuilt factory Carter 3 port fuel pump, cleaned the carb, brakes checked out, brake fluid topped offand bled, car stops decent but might need a rebuilt brake booster in the near future which is only a couple hundred dollars.
Overall this custom built Lincoln looks cool, clean and mean. It runs and drivers well and will turnheads just about wherever you go. It'snot a top level show car but it's a nice clean presentable custom Lincoln. Wouldn't take much to get it to a top levelcar. Customer has roughly $59 K investedin to the car. A reasonable reserve ofless than 50% of what was invested in this car was set for this auction. The value of 60's Lincolns are increasing year by year. Title in hand. 67 Lincoln factory manual isincluded with the car. Car is located in Port St Lucie, FL (South Florida). Any bidder is welcome to come personally inspectthe car (with a 1 day advance notice) and drive it and or hire a classic carinspector and or appraiser to come inspect the car before the auctionends. We have car lifts so they can inspect it underneath as well. Please don't' bid on the car ifyou don't have your funds readily available. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We have more pictures as well as a few 1 minute videos (2 walking around the car and 1 from inside the car) that we cansend to you upon request. Thank you for checkingout the listing and good luck if your bidding on this Lincoln!
