This is a very rare car , bmw 730 auto on carburettor, only built 3.0 litre straight six on a carburettor for 1 year .1979 to 1980. Apparently this is the only one in the uk and is a local hull registered car. I have just spent over 15k on recommissioning this beauty.As you can see in the pics the bonnet was not fitted properly but has been adjusted and gaps are ok now. It was just so I could get pics of it. Looks great drives 100% I may take a part exchange on this car , or even swop , for either another old classic etc 325 bmw or Sierra cosworth/classic ford anything really. I have sourced a lot of new old stock parts from stratstone BMW in hull and German dealers, the bare metal re spray alone cost me 7k besides new chrome bumpers from bmw at £1000 each , I must be mad, but have enjoyed every minute of this restoration. My classic car insurance company would not insure this for a penny less than 30k so they advised me due to the car been rare. Any questions I can be contacted on 0-7-8-8-5-4-6-6-0-2-0 .
