1964 International Scout 80 removable top

Up for your consideration is my 1964 International Scout Model 80. I purchased this truck from a farmer in Michigan with intentions of rebuilding and restoring it to use as my primary off road trail rig. After putting in lots of time and money, and discovering how rare these Scouts are getting, I just couldn't bring myself to use it off road. Even though it hasn't been on the trails, it was built very tough for use off-road. I would call this a "driver" build as it was never intended for show. It is solid as a rock but I did not have body work done prior to paint. Since I was going to use it offroad, I removed any rusted areas which needed to be removed, coated the remaining metal with POR-15 encapsulator, then had it painted by Maaco.

Body metal is very hard to find for these old Scouts so bright diamond plate was used down low on the body to overlay where rust was removed rather than doing body work. Paint is presentable but 5 years old so it has some bubbles mostly in the rear L quarter panel. It needs body work in this area to be show quality but it's holding the paint and doesn't show bad. Its been like this for a few years. Look closely at the pics. The frame has no rust and never did. I prepped, primed and painted it with enamel Tractor paint.

Includes custom shock towers front and rear. Also includes dual shocks up front and long stroke singles in the rear. * Bumpers - Custom front and rear bumpers with stinger on the front * Rock Sliders - Custom built sliders which are attached to frame * Roll cage - interior roll cage * Removable Hard top * Onboard air - includes ARB air compressor and stainless air storage tank * Air horn - Big Rig air horn * Rear air bags. - adjustible rear air bags for more ride comfort and stability. *Tires 35x12.5x15R BF Goodrich MTs * Wheels -15x10 Ultras (polished) * Warn winch with new Synthetic line * AUX Lighting - two sets of lights. *Seats - Corbeau suspension seats * Stereo - 4 speaker with underseat amp and SUBwoofer * Bed Toolbox, dual marine deep cycle Interstate batteries, and other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.
