Relisted because of yet another time waster.  You get another chance at this lovely car!

This Mercedes 320CE is a much sought after Sportline specification model.  The option package includes sport seating, wider wheels and lower profile tyres, quick ratio steering and a smaller diameter steering wheel, slightly lowered ride height and a specially tuned suspension including shorter, stiffer springs, struts, anti-roll bars, and bushes.

I have had the car for 12 years and loved driving it during nice summer weather.  The rest of the time it lives in a Carcoon in the garage.

Currently showing approximately 115,000 miles you could say it's only just been run in for W124 series cars, which are regarded as bullet proof. It is, however starting to show some signs of its almost 30 years with some bubbles showing around the front headlights on the front wheelarch tops and driver's door top.

The engine wiring loom has been replaced as has the throttle body.  The hood mechanism was reconditioned by experts about two years ago.

The V5 shows 8 former keepers.  I am one of those as I sold it and bought it back again so there are actually 7 previous keepers.

A great looking car from some of Mercedes best years that solidified them at the forefront of reliable, stylish modern car production.

It's MOT is valid until July 2022.

W124 is the Mercedes-Benz internal chassis-designation for the 1985 to 1995 version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class replacing the ageing W123 models. Due to the high cost of German engineering and build quality, the W124 was designed to last many miles, with awards actually given and worn by high mileage versions. Mercedes launched a cabriolet version in Europe in 1991, The 320CE, these versions were re-designated as the E320 in 1993, complemented by the less powerful, but less expensive E220 in 1993. The E320, E220, and E200 cabriolets ceased production in 1997.
