Vehicle Details
1962 Jaguar XKE early Series 1 OTS Sherwood Green/Tan. Early because a few weeks later in production they put a notch on the seats to move them back. Tool roll and jack, VIN 876857, Mileage 88,768. I bought this car May 15, 2015 from Laguna Classic Cars in Laguna Beach California. The major work I have had done over the past six years is: new steering rack, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt rear end, electric seven blade fan with shroud and radiator, brakes, new alternator, electronic ignition. In 2012 the engine was rebuilt with 0.20 pistons and crank turned to 0.10. In terms of its condition, August 21 st at the Jaguar Clubs of North America Concours D' Elegance, it took first place in its class with a 99.97. Driven class, bonnet down. I drive this car so the motor is not concourse : ) For the past six years that I have owned it I have collected many trophies from various car shows. In terms of history I have a binder that came with the car and it gives some of the car's history but not from the beginning and it's very incomplete. I have every piece of paper and receipt related to this car since I bought it six years ago. All the trophies too!! 15% Deposit must be wired within 3 days. Additional photos upon request. Images
