A charming French built Citroen 2 CV 6 Dolly in very rare Bleu Nuit or ‘Blueberries and Cream'.

EQUIPMENT
Headlamp adjustment control knob. check-button for brake level warning lamp. hazard warning switch. ashtray. windscreen/floor air distribution control. rear fog lamp. choke control with warning lamp. oil pressure warning lamp. battery charge indicator. folding rear bench seat. complete and half opening hood. interior lamp.

EXTERIOR
This amazing 2 CV is finished in its original colour combination unique to the Dolly model of Bleu Nuit (code ELK) or more commonly known as ‘Blueberries and Cream'. the rarest and highly sought after of ‘Dolly' colour schemes made for just one month in March 1986. A stunning car with a brilliant glossy shine. it causes a fantastic response from onlookers! Structurally perfect and still wearing factory supplied panels. All the correct Dolly decals and badges are present and the glass is window etched with the original Saint Gobain factory fit items. The winter muff grille is present and the chrome door mirrors are perfect having been replaced with brand new genuine stock items. The cloth backed vinyl hood is finished in matching colour scheme and remains in excellent condition. A true quirky classic.

INTERIOR
The interior of this Dolly is in remarkable condition. The grey diamond shape seat coverings are immaculate and undamaged along with all the other trim material. The switches. gauges and warning lights are all fully operational and are a delight to use. transporting the driver back to simpler motoring times! The floor is absolutely solid and still protected by the original Citroen rubber over-mats. Factory stickers still remain such as tyre pressure limits on door edge. The boot floor is spotless and additional rust-proofing has been applied to the prone seam edge. The spare wheel and jack are still present. Enchanting!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Having been truly cherished by a lifelong Deux Chevaux Club member this 2 CV Special is in prime mechanical condition. It drives wonderfully with the 2 cylinder 602 cc 28 bhp engine pulling strongly. The column gear change operates exactly as it should and being like no other car today. is guaranteed to put a big smile on your face!

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The original painted steel wheels with bright spotless chrome hub-caps support the correct and expensive Michelin Radial X 125 R 15 tyres with good tread all round. The spotless spare wheel is present with the same Michelin tyre. The vehicle stops quickly and in a straight line with the inboard disc brakes giving precise and positive feel.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on the 24 th October 1986. it is clear that this example has been truly cherished. Regular maintenance records revealed through a vast collection of timely invoices throughout the cars life for all work carried out. reveal the care and attention spent on this example by the enthusiastic owners. The previous owner Mrs M Giles. a huge fan of the 2 CV having owned many examples in the past purchased this rare example as a gift to herself. A hugely knowledgeable and fastidious owner. Mrs Giles ensured this wonderful car wanted for nothing and made the difficult decision to pass the vehicle on to a new owner in order to pursue a new hobby of campervan ownership. Now this delightful example in an incredibly rare colour scheme is offered to the next discerning classic car fan or avid Citroen collector.
