For sale is my beautiful 1969 Vw beetle 1200.I've owned and restored this car in the last 2 years,it was purchased from new in hessle,yorkshire by a family and didn't leave there ownership until 2008 when a friend purchased it.it had been off the road since 1991 and upon my purchase of the vehicle in 2019 I saw that it was very solid with matching numbers so I decided to bring it back to as stock as I could.It has the original 1200 engine,original gearbox,shell and floot pan.I don't think the floor pan has ever seen a welder.It has documented 47k on the clock and good documentation.The engine has no end float and runs very sweet.I had to change the carb for a H30/31 but still have the original somewhere,alternator conversion,new clutch and fully serviced.unbelievably no oil leaks upon first start in 30 years so I left seals etc alone.gearbox is in good condition,steering is pretty tight,she runs really well.tyres have covered around 1500 miles.brakes are fully serviced.exterior was painted 2 years ago,there are a few very minor defects but that's just me being very fussy.bumpers are triple chrome plated,I sourced some original handles and door locks so the whole car is on one original key with a spare.interior is original although I have fitted insulation and carpet kit.original electrics in good working order.overall she is a beautiful UK RHD 1969 1200 beetle and it needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.I've probably left loads of the description but the main points are here.I will be very sad to see her go but It's time to move on£7995
