Originally registered on 28/6/91 by Trimoco, on Ralnsford Road in Chelmsford this example has had just 4 owners from new, and benefits from a comprehensive amount of service history. It still has its original book pack, including the Trimoco dealer pack as well as its service book and an additional service book as the original one is full. There is every MOT certificate present to backup the milage as well as a thick pack of invoices for work carried out over years.

It's HPI clear, never stolen or written off. No signs of any previous accident damage.

It has its original Ford keys, and all the locks match.

In the last year or so, the car has benefitted from around £4000 of improvement and renovation work. This includes a major service, including plugs, timing belt, filters etc, as well as new discs and pads all round, an oil leak sorted from the sump to front diff,a new fuel pump loom and a few little niggles and other bits sorted.

It starts hot or cold straight away with no blue smoke and runs and drives exactly as it should. The release bearing is quiet, the gearbox engages every gear without any crunch and their are no whines of vibrations through the transmission.

There are a few upgrades on the car, mostly to aid its reliability rather than performance, these include -

Alloy radiator

Vibratechic gearbox and engine mounts

Silicon hose kit

Bailey header tank

Bailey coolent swirl pot

Bailey breather system

PJ low temp thermostat

Mongoose 3" down pipe and resonated midsection with  custom made 3" stainless backbox with 2.5" tip made to replicate the standard system. It comes with the mongoose outwardly rolled back box.

The car does have a few small marks here and there, as can be expected as a car of its age, but it's overall very clean, as can be seen from the pictures. The interior is in great condition, the door cards have very little shrinkage, no cigarette burns anywhere, the leather is in excellent condition, the carpets are excellent and protected by a set of nearly new genuine Ford floor mats.

Other bits to add, everything inside works, all the dash lights illuminate, all 4 windows move quickly, the heated windscreen works as it should with just one bar right in the middle that's failed(sierra owners will know how rare this is to not have more failed) the central locking works.

It has the lowest oil consumption of any cosworth I've known, barely using a drop, and has never missed a beat in the time I've owned it. It's not concourse, and isn't a restored car, but a very clean and usable example, with great history and low owners.
