1961 Morris Minor Traveller
This Early Morris Traveller has been lovingly refurbished and updated by a local Morris enthusiast. which has made for a delightful little car with the charm that comes with earlier models.
Externally the Morris has had wood replaced and repaired where needed including a full new side. but some of the good original wood kept for originality value. The car has then been refinsihed in smoke grey. With the cars period semaphore indicators also maintained. The underside of the car has also been welded to a good standard and presents itself well. before leaving us the car will be waxoyled for extra protection and fully serviced before going to a new home.
Under the bonnet the Traveller has been cleaned. stripped painted and detailed. as well as the cars original 948cc powerplant replaced with the slightly more powerful 1098cc version of the A series.
The car drives very well. makes no noises and stops as it should also.
Inside the Minor also still has the period features of pull start switch. and gold speedometer but has later pressed type smoke grey seats. which have no rips or tears. he Morris also benefits from a brand new light blue carpet set and good headlining.
