Ford Capri 2.8 injection special 1987 D long MOT 280 lookalike very tidy car

Please Read this listing from top to bottom!For auction is my 1987 Ford Capri 2.8 injection special, limited slip diff 5 speed manual.84600 miles Painted Brooklands Green with 280 sticker kit. I do have the correct injection striping kit if you want to change it.I bought this car in 2019 all ready painted in green. It had extensive work done to make it all good. It had a colour change from red.It was stored in a dry building for many years. It got painted and put back into storage for another 6 years then I got it.All the door shuts,hatchback edges and top of inner wings were painted except the boot floor and some of the lower engine compartment.Now I know the purists will be making comments about it on the Facebook forums but hey ho, some people need to get a life! For me it's a Capri that's on the road that's been saved. End of!Now the good stuffSunroof works tilt and slide.Excellent roof liner.Recently MOT tested with no advisories again for the 3rd year in a row.New parts recently fitted as follows.New Petrol tank which is almost full with petrol so no waiting at a petrol station to get home.New 4 piston front calipers inc new discs and pads.New rear shoes, fitting kit,slave cylinders and full brake fluid replacement.Sportex 2 inch middle and rear exhaust replaced with new brackets and rubbers. Original kidney shaped down pipes.New oil and filter and 6 plugs.Fuel filter.Plug leads, rotor and cap.Battery a year old.Water pump,thermostat,thermostat housing and a lot of water pipes replaced with silicone pipes. Radiator and header tank caps replaced. All belts replaced with new.All this was done as preventative maintenance.Car is fitted with excellent 205/50R15 Avon tyres on mint Capri club replica wheels.The spare is also a Capri club alloy with brand new tyre fitted.Bodywork is very good with some odd marks but very solid, underside is solid.Fitted with aftermarket inner front wing splash guards and waxoyled everywhere.The grey interior recaros are excellent with no bolster wear which is rare. Comes with the 2 original seat pads that came standard in the same trim as seats.Drivers door mirror remote still works.Carpet is excellent as is the dash with all working gauges. Original working two knob radio cassette.The rear parcel shelf is hand made from wood and fitted with large speakers and suits the car  but they do sell pattern ones at Capri Club if you want a standard looking one. The rear hatch  inner wiper cover is from Capri Club. There is a bespoke outdoor car cover made to the cars dimensions did cost £500 new.Bad bits, Some of the glass is etched with other reg numbers(may have been replaced when painted) never bothered me. Heated rear window switch lights up but doesn't clear the screen.That's about it!I'm selling it because I don't use it anymore after buying a Mustang Bullitt! It's a shame not to use it.It starts immediately even after a few weeks of not using it and drives  very well, runs absolutely Bob on, nice tick over speed and sounds lovely when out on the open road.
