1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Hello, how are you? I am selling a 1969 VW Beetle roadster. I want to be clear up front!!!! This car does not have a top!!! The original convertible top has been removed, along with all the windows. I just want to be clear from the get go. This is a custom built car. Moving along, this is a very tastefully built car. it started life as an original Texas car, and it was a convertible, so all the factory braces are on it, making it nice and sturdy. This car is extremely solid, all the panels are original, not one thing was patched, or replaced. The pan, and body are in impeccable condition! The body was taken off the pan, and was completely painted, also the pan was stripped down and also painted with chassis paint. The windshield has been chopped, and the new windshield is a custom cut glass window, not a cheap lexan one. All the door handles have been removed, and the holes welded shut. The windows, and vent windows were also removed from the car. Once the top was removed a custom boot was made for the rear, to match the white interior. The car was painted with PPG paint, and their top of the line clear. The color is GM Daytona yellow. The entire body was painted, and the parts separately, then it was assembled.  The dash was also smoothed out, the only thing on the dash is the speedo. All the buttons have been mounted under the dash, to keep everything clean, and neat looking. All the gaps on the car are great1 The doors open and shut perfectly, the hood, and engine cover fit great, and are all original to the body of the car. The inside of the car is all Scat pro car parts, door panels, seats. The car has a hurst shifter in it, which shifts great. The car has a black rug from Auto custom carpets. The car is very comfortable to drive!!! Everything works great, it does not have any kind of rattles, or noises.The pan was stripped down, and refinished in gloss black chassis paint. the original beam was also stripped and painted, 2 1/2 inch drop spindles are added t the front, along with all new ball joints, shocks, and front disk brakes. The rear suspension was gone through, all bushings, bearings, shocks were also replaced. The car drives down the road great, and stops on a dime!!!!The engine is a rebuilt 1600 dual port, it runs excellent!! All the components on it are stock, and mostly German parts were used on it. The axles were also replaced when it was done, along with the clutch, and the accessories that go with that. The car shifts great, absolutely no driveline issues, I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere. The wheels were purchased from J bugs, and the tires are also brand new. This car has had about 600 miles put on it since the build. Any little issues have been worked out. This is an extremely fun car, and is different in many ways. I can honestly say you will not see another one like it. No corners were cut, and no expenses were spared on this build.
