1983 Jeep CJ

Single family owned 26k actual mile 1983 Jeep CJ7 Laredo in Deep Night Blue with silver Laredo graphics purchased new at Mid America Motors in Hot Springs, AR .  The interior is black Laredo as well as the top with Laredo factory tint.  Powered by the 6cyl 258ci engine backed by an automatic TF999 transmission.  This Jeep is almost all stock the way it came from the factory and looks and drives like a super low mileage original should with great power, shifting and tracking down the road.  I wouldn't be afraid to drive this Jeep long distances right now or pull up to a car show and be an instant contender.  Factory options: Laredo package, hardtop and hard doors, tilt column, automatic transmission, HD cooling, PS, PB, 6cyl (yes 4cyl was standard even in Laredo), draw bar, full size spare.Exterior:  The paint and graphics are about 80% original.  The Jeep had sun fade in a few areas so I chose to refinish the windshield frame, passenger rear corner, dash plate and half the cowl to save the Jeep from being a total repaint.  Color matching, and blending takes an exhaustive amount of time and knowledge to get right but the end result is a Jeep that has been preserved mostly original.  I also installed new graphic pieces on the rear corners and center hood.  The rest of the paint and graphics was left original and polished to a great shine.  I am being more transparent here than the majority of sellers do because these are the things I would want to know before a purchase.  Interior:  Exceptional original Laredo seats with no repairs.  Steering wheel, console, door panels and the interior are in very nice low mileage condition.  I installed a NOS Sony two post cassette radio and new dash speakers that work and sound great.  All gauges, lights and features work as they should.  Mechanical:  All original and runs a drives outstanding.  With the automatic transmission simply hop in and the drive is effortless.  The power is strong and the shifts up and down are spot on.  Low mileage examples of these late Jeep CJ's are actually a sporty drive.  4 wheel drive has been tested and works nice and smooth.Note: There is no rust on the Jeep but there are small blemishes from being mostly original paint and driven around a small town as a short drive daily driver for 20 years before mostly being retired.  The overall presentation is great and looks like a 26k mile JeepFeel free to call or text Mike at 419-343-4284.  I am not a dealer.  I am willing to take additional pictures or videos serious buyers need to feel comfortable in your decision.  I also have a broker I use often to transport Jeeps all around the county and can assist you in that process as well.  Other: For financing options I have seen a few people use and have been apart of the process (as a seller) with Woodside Credit.  I thought is was fairly painless and a good option with good rates.  I do trade for rust free original Jeep CJ's 76-86 if it makes sense for both of us.
