You are bidding on a very original numbers matching 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible that I have owned since 1998. I am the second owner and It is a nice driver that was frame up restored in the late 90's to address some body rust issues. The floorboards were replaced from a donor car and some patches were welded on lower quarters, and fenders Hood, deck lid, were pretty much rust free and trunk floor is original to the vehicle. The package tray area underneath had some rust issues that were blasted and repaired. China aftermarket part not available in the 90's. The frame is straight and very solid. Interior and carpet are very nice. Power windows and power top work. The original paint color of the car was Marina Turquoise. The car was painted Porsche red and the pictures were taken a couple months ago. This car has not seen rain since I have owned it. Car has not been run for the last 3 years but it should not take much to make it roadworthy again. It should need the gas tank flushed, the original carburetor and the brakes rebuilt, and maybe a new battery. The engine, transmission and rear end all ran well with no funny noises or shift issues when stored and vehicle should run fine with little work. It still has its original Harrison 4 core radiator that was recored a few years ago. It has 148000 original miles and engine could use freshening up at some point but it runs on all 8 cylinders and is still quite powerful. This is a highly desirable factory optioned car with a/c and heater (currently not working) power steering, power windows, power top, power antenna, factory am/fm radio, original rally 1 wheels, and wood wheel. The front end bushings and ball joints etc.. have all been replaced. The left quarter panel May have been replaced before my time. I have the original owners manuals and protecto-plate that go with the car. Interior and top are nice, the clock does not work, the radio is a little finnicky and sometimes takes a while to work, power antenna works well. I have described it as best as possible so please call me with any questions or if you wish to see it prior to bidding at (305) 562-0526 George. Car is being sold as is and where is so buyer responsible for shipping. The buyer who pressed the "buy it now" yesterday tried to scam me so please contact me if you have less than 10 positive feedbacks. Immediate non refundable deposit of $500 required upon winning the auction. A wire transfer or cash will only be accepted prior to car leaving my possession. Please only bid if serious about buying. I have very good feedback on eBay and wish to keep it that way. Happy bidding....
