Back up for sale. One buyer's funds bounced - the other one from Australia could not afford to import it,,,,,,,so here it is again.
If you don't have the funds, please do not waste my time or yours. I am selling it because I really don't need it anymore. 1966 Chrysler 300 2 door hardtop. Clear Florida title in my name. A friend and I just finished a 3500 mile round trip road trip in August with zero problems. I bought the car a number of years ago so I would have an unrestored car that I could take on road trips without any fear of something happening because our other cars are restored to the point that we don't take them out of town. This car fits the bill perfectly and that is what we have been using it for since we got it. The interior HAS been restored with new carpet, new headliner, front and rear seats recovered , headlight and wiper and fan switches replaced , speedo cable replaced, dash lights and sockets replaced, etc. Mechanically the car has been restored, with 4 x new tires in the past year every brake part replaced new gas tank and sender 4 new shocks new alternator and belts restored carb new fuel pump and lines Pertronix ignition new dual exhaust system new transmission filter and pan gasket and a host of other things I can not recall to make this a very reliable driver.
As I said, it just went on a 3500 mile trip and it only needed gas. The car did not leak, smoke or drip anything.
The outside is unrestored, other than a new vinyl top. The body and floors and trunk and underside are solid and the paint is presentable as is the stainless and chrome but they are NOT restored and it is not a show car. It is a 10 footer.
As this is a 56 year old used car, it is sold as is, ,where is, with no warranty. We want nothing in trade ( we have 30 restored cars and that is plenty ). If you have actual questions, just send a message. I have more photos and anyone can come and look at it or drive it. The car is in Naples FL and as I said, it has a clear Florida title in my name.
Oh, the important part, 440 V 8, 4 bbl carb, auto transmission, power steering, power brakes, remote drivers mirror.
