My parents purchased this car in 1993 as long-time VW bus and Beetle owners, and I drove it to a Grateful Dead show (people could follow Dead & Co nowadays in it). They used it until about 10 years ago when my dad became too old to comfortably drive manual transmission, so it has under 77k original miles (mostly highway)! They say there was a slight leak in the top of the gas tank, and he never got around to fixing it since he couldn't drive it, and now they are moving. As you can see from the pictures, it has not been washed for a long time, though has not been in any accidents and seems very structually sound. Clean title, keys, Chiltons VW guide, parts, and tools included.
