Ford Mk1 Escort RS1600 Concourse Show Condition! 1973Olympic BlueHPI Clear Chassis Number starts with BFATNJ V5 Present.MSA Historic log book with full set of homologation papers built to FIA standards.

All parts are BRAND NEW & IN DATE!

Body shell: the car is 90% original panels, i.e floors, seals, inner wings etc.

 Group 4 fabrication parts mainly Gartrac, including a world cup cross member & strut brace.

 The car is currently setup for tarmac but is capable of being setup for forestry events as all mountings are in place. 

The car has been a ‘no expense spared' build: Steel big winged Gartrac Arches, fully sump guarded and side skidded and Seal Chassis axle stands.

Engine: 2.0 BDG T Block, supplied & built by Wayne Mitchell to historic specifications. 

Twin Webber 45s, Simpson Racing exhaust manifold, Tony Law Exhaust System manifold back, Dry Sumped, 

Fuel System twin facet pumps and filter king, all fuel & oil fittings are Aeroquip. 

Alloy Fuel & oil tank which are both mounted in the boot: Luminition ignition system, 

Engine coolant Copper brass radiator, big header tank with spal radiator fan.

 The engine is producing 242bhp at 8000rpm, 0 mileage on engine.

Gearbox: ZF 5 speed, correct historic specification, Pro Gear Kit direct top supplied by Rix Engineering.

Clutch: Ap Racing twin plate. Master cylinder & Slave cylinder genuine Girling items.

Suspension: Bilstein GP4 rally tarmac specification. Fully adjustable rose jointed TCAs and compression struts.

 Rear Suspension plastic leaf springs fitted for show purposes as Fords cheated.

Rear Axle: GP4 Fully Floating Atlas rear axle 5.1 Ratio LSD, 5 Linked (Squires) Supplied by Evans and Son rally spares.

Cooling System: Oil cooling system Mocal with remote oil filter.

Brakes: Front AP Racing Monticarlo callipers and Ap Racing Vented discs, fitted to Ally Big Bearing Hubs and Bells. 

Rears Ap racing 2577 Callipers with solid discs and hand brake mechanism.

 Ferrodo racing pads front and rear.

 Fully Aeroquip Braided brake lines running through the car.

Wheels & Tyres: 8J Revolution mini-light style GP4 Fitment wrapped in Toyo R888 tyres x5.

Interior: Safety Devices 6 Point bolt in Roll cage with x brace door bars and dash bar.

 Corbeau Pro Series X Racing seats with Corbeau 6 point harnesses and Mountings.

 Life Line 2000 electric fire extinguisher system with Lifeline handhelds. 

Hydraulic handbrake.

 Gartrac biased pedal box. 

Cartec electric master cut out system with manual key. 

Bespoke wiring loom aircraft grade and fully labelled at all connections. 

Alloy Navigators foot plate. Upper and lower spot lamp connections are fitted. Halder type trip meter.

 Racetech Gauges. Heated front and rear screen.  

All new rubber sills including lights and handles throughout the car with a brand-new headlining.
