1967 Mustang fastback Project car i have spent tons of money on this project but have lost interest do to some dealings with questionable body shops and paint people. I bought the body from New Mexico about ten years ago and have been working at getting it restored since. To start with it was a pretty solid car coming from a dry a climate the floor pans frame rails and rockers were all solid as were the quarter panels hood deck lid and such. Being that i was planning a putting a high horsepower motor in the car and was not fond of the front suspension i purchased a frame assembly from Mustangs to Fear and had it professionally installed. Also purchased the Mustangs to Fear front suspension and Wildwood front disc breaks. I went ahead and replaced the passenger quarter panel as some one had neglected to change the wheel house from a prior accident. I bought completely rust free doors and fenders from someone in Illinois who had them in dry storage these parts were OEM parts but were from a 68 mustang. For some unknown reason the body guy couldn't get the drivers door to fit correctly so i ended up putting a Dynocore  door on that side. I purchased a fiberglass nose from Mustang to Fear as i believe they sold the highest quality product of that sort, i also bought a fiberglass trunk lid and quarter extensions as i was striving to make my car different then the others out there. I installed a Elanor gas filler assembly and wanted to leave the original style tail lights and have the original gas filler spot smoothed out which it has not been ( see body guy reference ). The list of new parts of have for this car is pretty extensive all new interior and i have the original interior which is in as good of shape as you could expect (black ). New bumpers bumper brackets new rubber seals a 351 Windsor punched out to a 408 with all the best parts i could buy Dyno specs at 500HP AND 513 FT pounds of torque i have a five speed manual trans and the clutch cable assembly to make it work. Stock rear leaf springs and standard rear drum brakes at this time. I have new front wiring harness and 2 original wiring harnesses and the car has a set of original Shelby wheels on it I also have new headlight bezels and buckets if you did not want to go with the fiberglass nose piece the one thing I know i don't have is the windshield unless you want a cracked one (LOL ) the heater box has been completely rebuilt and the blower motor is new as well as the wiper motor. I know i am forgetting lots of parts and information but this is getting long so a stopping here. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time if it sells in state.
