Nash 1077 Town Sedan 1932.Prohibition era car with iconic looks.I imported this Nash from the Chicago area 5 years ago. It is UK registered, has a V 5 and is taxed (free).Nash were a company renowned for the engineering excellence of their cars. During the Great Depression in the 1930's in the USA, they maintained their position near the top of US car sales while other companies disappeared or struggled.The car is very original. The only thing it needs is the completion of a modification from cable to hydraulic brakes which is part complete. I have fitted new discs and callipers to the front, and drums with hydraulics to the rear. It only needs the master cylinder (which I have) to be fitted, and the brakes piped up.The car has many rare original features, including a moveable spotlight by the driver's door.The car is in excellent structural condition, with no rust holes in the bodywork or chassis. The body paint is almost certainly original, and the external chrome work is in very good condition.The interior is all original.This is a very cool-looking car, which has plenty of power from its 3933 cc flathead straight 8 engine. The engine starts first time, even from cold, and runs like a sewing machine.Just a little work to complete.
