1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz

Up for Bid is a Beautiful example of the Last year of the Big Body Eldorado a 1978 Eldorado Biarritz in the most sought after color Carmine Red (Color Code 80) with Carmine Red Leather and white top (11T). Carmine Red was first introduced in 1978 so its a one year color for the big body Eldo! Currently it has just over 44,000 miles on it. I have great pictures of the original title filed April 13, 1979. i have the Original owners manual, warranty paperwork maintenance schedule and tire booklet with it along with some cool things found under the seat including a glass cup from the 1983 Kentucky Derby, a few coupons from around 1982, a shoe purchase from 1979, and some matchbooks and a matchbox from a restaurant called Embers in Michigan that closed its doors in 2007 after 50 years. the Matchbox is from their 25 anniversary! This car was in inside storage since around 1990 until just about 2 months ago when i acquired it along with 6 other Cadillacs from the Gentlemans estate. Very cool that the address i picked the car up from was the original address on the title! the only other car up for sale from this bunch is going to be a 1975 Eldorado Convertible with 37k miles in a late year color called Firethorn making it very rare. The Original owner took great care of these cars and this one has the original floor mats and currently has the original bumper fillers in it but a couple of them are starting to go bad (cracks and discoloring) and will eventually need replaced. There are 2 other spots that will eventually need attention which include a couple small cracks in the paint on both sides of the Landau top (shown in pics) the Power antenna is also missing and needs replaced. I was going to replace this but the car has the Factory CB radio option and i didnt see spending the extra to put this in if the next buyer decides to replace the radio (which works just needs antenna) and take the CB out. The interior of this car is absolutely beautiful and shows no wear on the seats anywhere. Power seats, windows and locks operate as they should. the Climate control functions as it should with Ice Cold AC! Just roll the Temperature dial to what you want and throw it on auto and cruise. the Radiator was leaking when i purchased the car and i had a new one custom Built with the original tanks and original tags put back on it. the Soft close feature on the trunk still operates as it should with the original spare, the original jack, spare tire propulsion piece all undisturbed and completely original to the car. the undercarriage of the car is in great condition as well. I have done new valve cover gaskets since they had dried up some, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor button, air filter, oil change and new 1 1/2 whitewalls by Suretrac as well as topping off the freon for the AC still running on R12. Really a time capsule and an unbelievable head turner going down the road! this Timeless classic is ready for someone to put into their family to enjoy for generations to come! feel free to ask me any questions you may have!
