I have 100's of photos - quite large - and will be posting / picking the best 24 (max allowed) to post here.   If there are ANY pictures you'd like to see - you can send me an email directly to porschecabATcomcast DOTnet and I can forward them to you.   The hood wasn't closed when I snapped pictures. sorry.   Also - an original orange bar hood emblem was put back on - where it belongs as well as a proper 901 shifter with the 901 shift pattern.   It had an aluminum shifter with a 901 short shifter - which we replaced with the standard 901 shifter and all new bushings.

The Porsche is VIN'd as a 1969 912 per the Porsche COA. which is included.   Original paint code is the desirable Irish Green.   As the prior owner (wife of passed away well known original owner) explained. this was ordered for pick up in Europe.   The original owner took delivery in Europe and Rally'd the car there for six months before bringing it back to the states. here in California.   This has been a California car its entire life. without rust or any sign of accidents.   The prior owner was editor of Rod and Custom. Hot Rod. and founder of the Southern CA region of the PCA.

DETAILS OF 1972 911T 2. 4T motor:
The 2. 4 runs great.   The 2. 4 has E cams. Carrera tensioners. lower turbo valve covers. Bosch distributor w/Pertronix. and newer Magnecor wires.   It really pulls strong above 3500 with the E cams.   I bought the motor from someone that had  owned the car it was in since 1998.   He bought the car with 85K miles.   The odometer broke shortly after he bought it.   The car was driven very little.   A couple of DEs each year and an occasional trip to the office.   He wasn't able to identify the exact mileage. but estimated not much over 100-105K.   No smoke. does not use excessive oil (actually uses very little period).   Compression is good all around (135-140. which is within 5 psi of where it was 10 yrs ago).   It does have some typical minor oil drips (return tubes). leaves a few quarter sized spots after it's parked.   It really doesn't need anything else.

The original numbers matching 1969 912 motor appears to have been rebuilt.   Check the photos.   I have not verified this but the pictures would lead me to believe this.   However. the 912 motor is not IN the car nor is it included.   The transmission is the original number matching trans to the car.
