1959 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite.  Runs and drives great.  Perfect roadster for the end of summer!  Brakes work great, all the electrics work, and would make a solid driver as is. Has the later 1275cc engine installed, with ribcase transmission and 3.9:1 rear gearing. Makes it much more driveable than the orignal setup. The twin SU carburetors were professionally rebuilt by Dave Braun last year and work great!Lots of new parts:NGK Spark plugs, NGK Low-Resistance wires, Bosch Blue Ignition Coil, Intermotor cap and rotor. Fresh points and condensor.Moss Full Stainless Exhuast system and LCB Stainless header.New motor and transmission mounts, and U-joints.New Radiator, electric fan upgrade, water pump, hoses, radiator cap, belt, thermostat and housing.New clutch hydraulics and throwout bearing. Previous owner appears to have replaced the actual clutch disk and pressure-plate assembly, and the clutch operates very well.Ignition-switch with guillotine mounting from BugeyeGuy.New tachometer and speedometer cables.Rear brakes and axle seals.Brand-new set of tires, barely any miles on them. Most everything works as it should and works well, only a few minor details that still need work:The parking brake catch is worn down, making it inoperable.Only one wiper works due to stripped wiper wheelbox. Transmission shifts smoothly in all gears except for 2nd which has a bad syncronizer. I have found you can work around this by double clutching.Engine smokes when cold but goes away once operating temp is reached. Once it is warmed up, it doesn't smoke at all and won't until next cold startup. Seems to be affected by cold outside temps, as it doesn't do it when it's hot out.Previous owner had body work done and the car seems very solid with very little rust. The paint is not perfect, the previous owner had it painted about 25 years ago. Still looks good with a wax job nonetheless. Will include orignal H1 carbs, front bumper and 4.22:1 rear gearset.Does not have a top, tonneau only. All in all, this is a great, fun to drive car, that you can enjoy right now while the weather is nice.$14,000Please call/text: 6one5-5eight5-3three8eight
