Bought in July 2018, was parked outside a job I was on two weeks later I owned a scirocco mk2. During my ownership have annually serviced with plenty new parts installed. Almost everything I have bought has been from VW Heritage. Trickier work has been done by several classic car mechanics (who commented how well she drives for an old automatic). This is one of four of this spec registered as tax/sorn in UK. I have receipts for new parts/work done/MOT's during my time. As well as receipts for new parts/work done/MOT's since 2008. However no service history book came with car. The insurance is very cheap.

EXTERIOR: Overall good condition. Original paintwork. Seals all good, no water getting in. Original rims all good. Rust on driver and passenger doorsills, this is noted in latest MOT as an advisory, see photo-11. Couple dings but nothing heavy, see photos-11,12.

INTERIOR: Overall good condition. Original upholstery. All buttons/switches/dials work. Clean dry boot. A tear on back left passenger seat, see photo-8. Small tear on passenger door handle. Cracks on dash, see photo-6. Manual window winder drivers door needs to be fixed back on.

MECHANICALLY(Engine No. EX): Overall good condition. Lots of work and new parts since 07.18; Engine oil. Engine coolant flushed. Auto Transmission Fluid. Radiator. Air intake piping. Air filter. Inline fuel filter. Spark plugs. Rear wheels haves had; brake hose copper piping, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, wheel bearings, anti roll bar clamps. Front wheels have had; wishbones, ball joint locking plates, wheel bearings, dust shield covers, steering tie rods, front anti roll bar clamps, bushes, reconditioned anti roll bar, brake discs, brake calipers and new outer CV boots. Then; ATF/fuel vapour separator. Fuel pump. Ignition coil. Carburettor base plate. Carburettor Webber has also been professionally taken apart and serviced. Starter motor. TCI ignition module. Ignition/HT leads. Timing belt. Bonnet lining/soundproofing. Battery. A new flywheel is probably needed sooner the better to avoid wearing out new starter motor teeth. All nuts, bolts, washers, clamps, jubilee clips that have come off during work have been replaced as well as I have cleaned anything and everything that I can reach. It is fitted with a manual choke.
