Vehicle Details
This beautiful and unique 1941 Lincoln Continental is a "resto-mod." She was my father-in-law's baby. He named her the Flying Dutchman (he was from the Netherlands). He passed away a few years ago, leaving us his beautiful car. We are not car enthusiasts, and we feel "The Flying Dutchman" deserves to be with someone who really appreciates her. My father-in-law spent 40 plus years rebuilding this car. The engine is a Ram Jet 502 with less than 100 hours on it, and the car runs well. The car does have a title. Exterior is in very good condition. One paint scuff (pictured) and a couple of small, barely noticeable paint runs. The paint is a gorgeous metallic charcoal grey color. Seats, doors, floor, headliner are all in good condition. Front and back bench seats. The dash needs some wiring. The wiring is there, but the existing gauges are not functioning accurately. They are on, but just not reading accurately. Glove Box door has nothing behind it (meaning there is no box). Trunk is in good condition. Has both a/c and heating and both seem to function properly. Please let me know if you have any questions. I don't know everything about this car, but I can certainly try to answer questions. I can provide more photos, if needed. She really is such a beauty! *NOTE: This car is a 1941. The listing would NOT allow me to enter 1941, it would only let me add 1940 or 1942. No clue why. *NOTE: I originally indicated that the car has a rebuilt title. Upon looking at the actual title, I found that it is a regular title, not a rebuilt title. I tried to change this in the ad, but it will not allow me to change it. Images
