1964 VOLKSWAGEN FF BEACH BUGGY LWB 1600CC MOT AND TAX EXEMPT BRAND NEW BODYThis was my lockdown project! And i have spent a frightening amount on her! This is the only FF LWB Buggy in Premium Purple Metal Flake in the world! I had it custom made, I looked a every LWB body in detail before I choose this, I think it has the best lines for a LWB. It is currently set up with two front seats, you could fit seats in the back if you wanted to.

The Overview

She was a Beach buggy when I bought her, but she had not been on the road a many years, she had a tired old GP body. So I have spent thousands and countless hours building her the way I wanted. I have only covered 31 miles since being built, as the original 1300cc failed so I have just had a 1600cc engine from a 1302s beetle fitted so shes read to go! Please note this had a brand new body (it was made from the original 1970s mould in 2021!)

It has had 5 owners since new. 

It states VW Saloon in Purple on logbook, its easy to get this swapped to say beachbuggy if you want to with DVLA as its still a standard Beetle floor pan. Its not fussed me as I have had it insured with no issue with an agreed value of £10000. Its a LWB body so you could make it a four seater is you wanted to.

I have the Full V5 registration Document, and a whole folder of receipts everything was bought new!

The Vehicle Details

The 2021 FF LWB Body with Side pods with the Premium Purple Metalflake most metal flake you can get in it! It cost extra but its 100% worth it! The photos do not do it justice, it tooks so much better in the flesh. The body is fitted with a Brand new Screen, New Chrome Headlights, TVR Led Afterburner Rear Lights. I bought a brand new fuel tank from Alan Scholfield panels  and had it custom modified for centre filling.

BRM Wide 5 Alloy wheels in Purple with 195/60/R15 Yokohamas on the Front and 215/80R15 Bridgestone Desert Dueler on the read of that awesome buggy stance!

Original Empi Seats are fitted with lap belts, Mountney steering wheel. 200mph GPS Speedo, Complete new Empi wiring loom, New Led switch panel. OOARR Horn! It has a Roll Bar fitted (its not shown in picture 2 I just wanted to show how 

I have just spent £1800 on a 1600cc 50HP Twin Port Petrol Engine with 4 speed gearbox with shortshifter, Single Solex Carb, Electronic Ignition, Alternator Conversion, New Chrome Air Filter, New Empi Dual Cannon Exhaust. I have just had all new brake shoes fitted all round with new wheel cylinders all round, I have also had the pedal assembly rebuilt and new track rods. One exhaust gasket needs replacing as its got a backfire at times(sounds great!).  It has just had a Oil Change, New Plugs, HT leads and New Bosch Coil. 

It runs and drives superbly and is ready to go! Please bear in mind this is not a Brand New VW Golf and wont drive like one! Its a 50 year old classic car with classic car mechanics and brakes! I takes time to learn how to drive these, once you are used to it there is not a more fun car to drive!!

I have spent in excess of £10000 on the project along with countless hours.
