HiHere i have for sale my e30 touring. It started life out as a 316i which it remained until 2015 when it was parked up in a shed. It was then purchased by the previous owner before me in 2019 i believe, and he began removing the 316i lump and converting it to an m52b28 from a low mileage e39 528i automatic (so the engine hasnt exactly lived a hard life!)Unfortunately the previous owner lost motivation and decided to sell it onI bought it from him earlier this year, purely because of how rust free the shell was, structurally it is very good... a lot better than my other one which is why its a bit of a shame to sell. After buying it i discovered i pretty much had to re-start the conversion due to it being done in a borderline dangerous way. I'd like to think now it has been done to a good standard.Heres the specs and the good bits:Brand new set of H&R sports lowering springs all aroundBrand new set of Bilstein B4 shocks all around3.46 188 medium case diff with sand blasted back plate and polybush mountCorrect 320i propshaftE30 318is gearboxE30 318is gearbox mount bracket and new rubbersCorrect gear linkage etc refreshed bushesNew low temperature thermostatNew aluminium radiatorComplete electric fan set up, with an automatic temperature switch, or a manual override switch inside if in heavy trafficNew water pumpNew tpsNew mafNew cyclone valve Car has been smoke tested and zero vacuum leaksNew track rod endsPower steeringElectric front windows and sunroofRefreshed headlining Aluminium thermostat housingCustom stainless exhaust system. Sounds greatRemapped and EWS deleted ECU E28 M5 engine mountsClio brake servoNew clutchNew clutch master and slave cylinderNew drop links all around 128,000 milesIm sure ive forgotten some things, so please message. The car drives great now. Has nearly full 12 month MOT on it (expired end of July next year) It is very quick, handles well and gets lots of attention. It stays cool whilst driving, and the fan kicks in if it starts to get hot. I have also installed a manual override switch for the fan inside the car, as sometimes in heavy traffic the automatic switch turns off too soon so its useful to have control to ensure you dont get hot! It had one patch of welding on the drivers footwell for its mot, which was sorted. The rest of the underside is extremely clean, i can send pictures.Bodywork wise, it does need tidying up. After being sat in a shed for 5 years it has been peppered in quite a few little dents and dings, some very minor and a few are fairly large. The paint is generally not too bad and i imagine it will polish up really well. There are a few dull spots of paint, specifically the driver rear quarter where it looks like it has had a new rear arch at some point. This job has been done well though, it is only apparent this has been changed when really looking for it... there is a small faint paint line. Also the bottom of the passenger door needs addressing as pictured! Also, the fuel gauge seems to have a mind of its own, but the fuel light does work reliably. Same story with the ABS light. All the glass and all the lights have its registration number etched into them, showing theyre all original to the car and none have been replaced or broken in its lifetime. Factory blue top tint windscreenSo yeah, a good car and a nice easy tidy-upper for someone to make absolutely perfect, or keep it how it is and just enjoy it! Its a real shame to be selling this as it is great fun, but i have no-where to store it whilst at uni. Please also note, it will come on its standard 15 inch BBS wheels with toyo proxes. Any questions, or offers, please do not hesitate to message meI am happy to get more detailed pictures of certain areas, or videos etc etc Happy for you to come and view, and take for a test drive if you can prove you're insured. It is ready to drive away, or if thats not possible i can sort delivery.Open to offers near asking price
