About this vehicle This 1978 Jeep CJ 5 is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes I do not want to sell my CJ 5. Therefore, price is firm and offers under asking price will not be entertained. This CJ's “cool factor” alone is worth more than the price. “Gold Dust” is incredible, reliable and bulletproof. Original rust free body, never painted with no body work which is a rare find. Body has recently bean clearcoated to preserve the original paint and patina and the undercarriage has been rust-proofed.
Mechanically 100% flawless with all systems replaced or rebuilt. This Jeep steers, handles and stops better than the factory CJ ever did. All gauges, wipers, horn, lights and turn signals work.
