Jaguar S Type restored rolling shell with painted wire wheels.

This Jaguar S Type body has been restored to a very good standard some years ago having had all the necessary panel repairs completed before being repainted in the colour shown.

All the usual rusted and corroded areas have been removed and repaired using in the main Martin Robey repair panels these include, Jacking points, front crossmember, crows feet, outriggers, front wheel arch repairs, splash panels, sills, rear wheel arch repair panels and inner arch repairs, doors have also been repaired as required.

 Finally prepared and painted in the colour shown, paint appears to have been applied well as we cannot see any signs of lifting. 

The general fit of the doors is good but would benefit from some final adjustment in order to achieve perfect door gaps. 

The front suspension has had a lot of new parts fitted which include upper and lower wishbone bushes, antiroll bar bushes, suspension bump stops, steering end assemblies, swivel joints appear to have been replaced, front discs have been replaced but do has some light surface rust which will easily clean up, V mounts replaced and a pair of new Monroe front shockabsorbers are with the car but not fitted. Rear axle has also had some restoration work, callipers appear to have new pistons fitted along with new discs which again have some surface rusting, subframe V mounts have also been replaced. 

Because all the hard work has been completed to this shell it gives any new owner the chance to fast track their restoration as to put a corroded body out to a specialist for repair and painting will probably take the best part of 12 months to complete not to mention the great expense. To restore and paint an S Type to this level could easily be £15,000 to £20,000 

This shell is being advertised for a mere £4750.00 so not only are you getting 12 months ahead in the restoration game but a huge saving as well.
