1963 Pontiac Tempest Wagon was being built by a good friend of mine for NHRA Super Gas competition. Three years ago after his mother passed away, he found himself in drastic tax trouble with his mothers estate. I purchased this car and all parts shown to help him out. My thought was to finish this car but time and other things are going to keep me from it.

This car has been professionally built and nothing but the best in parts bought.

Over $50,000 was spent on the Car plus over $20,000 on the Engine.

The list is long, but well worth the read.

The 63 Tempest body is in very nice , straight, solid shape still with her original red paint intact. My friend bought two Fiberglass front ends because he didn't know which was better (The VFN is the better). The original front fenders, hood, grill surround and lower valance are there also. Two fiberglass hoods both VFN (one with factory edges one completely flat) complete the 3 front ends that go with the car. There is also an extra new in bubble-rap fiberglass front bumper and a new fiberglass rear bumper (2 small cracks)

The Chassis is a Alston Chassisworks custom designed for this 113.5” wheel base and will certify to 7.50 specs. Chromoly 14 point TIG welded cage on the 2”x 4” mild steel frame.

Chassisworks front control arms and spindles with Wilwood rack and pinion steering. The rear is a ProFab 9” rear housing with Chassisworks 4-Link and chromoly rod ends. An upper wishbone centers the assembly. A torque tube rear sway bar completes the fully adjustable rear components.

The brand new in boxes Koni double adjustable rear shocks with QA-1 springs and Koni adjustable front shocks with QA-1 springs round out the suspension.

Brand new in boxes Willwood Dynalite brakes, 4 Rotors, 4 Calipers, 4 Hats, Brakepads and Willwood hubs plus new in box Mopar master cylinder and all Wilwood attaching hardware included.

To go inside the ProFab 9” housing is a brand new Mark Williams Aluminum center section with a 40 spline steel spool and Richmond Pro Gears 4:57 ratio. Mark Williams 40 spline Rifle-Drilled Super-Lite axles with studs and lug nuts.

A lot of the interior aluminum work is done (4 door panels plus the rear hatch panel) some is partially completed ( firewall, transmission tunnel, 2 driveshaft tunnels) plus a lot of miscellaneous panels and parts for finishing the interior. My friend bought 3 sets of rear wheel tubs. Fiberglass, Aluminum and Steel. All 3 are new. The aluminum and steel are still new in their boxes. Car has 2 battery boxes, a single battery and another for dual batteries.

A custom weight bar (empty)is installed on the left rear (opposite side of battery).

The New in boxes 2-5/8” Autometer gauges are Pro-Comp liquid filled. Oil pressure, Water temp, Transmission Temp, Voltage, and Fuel pressure with the isolater.

Autometer Pro-Comp recall tach.

Wheels on rear are 15”x 15” Centerlines with 16”x 32” Goodyear Eagle drag slicks. Front wheels are Vintage Wheel Works 15”x 4.5” with Goodyear Eagle Frontrunners 26”x 4.5”x 15”.

Clarification:

The pictures show the wheels before being mounted, there is only 1-Set of wheel and tires.

A custom made (ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL) fuel cell , New in box Barry Grant 400 fuel pump, Filter and Regulator along with some miscellaneous A/N fittings comprise the fuel system.

A Kirkey dual wall Pro Comp seat with cover and Grant Steering wheel on a Mark Williams quick release. Aluminum Chassisworks steering column. Car was configured to accommodate a 6' tall 200 lb driver but is easily adaptable for nearly any size driver.
