1961 VW Split Screen unfinished project. for sale

Unfortunately the T1 project needs to find a new house,it is a VW type 2 T1 1961 split screen left hand drive.We have been working on this restoration project for a few years. All of the panels have been replaced for new panels and some second hand rust free parts, as you can see on the pictures it has a custom paint job.Beetle engine and gearbox has been fitted. It was running but our plan was to rebuild the engine as it has some oil leaks.  It also has new brakes, new windows and a lot of new parts fitted and some still in the boxes.As you can see there is still work which needs to be done but the hardest jobs have already been done. The reason for the selling the T1 is because we are looking to make some space in the workshop and unfortunately some of the projects need to go.It was imported from the Caribbean in 2011, it hasn't been registered in the UK, some documents are included with the van. If you would like some more information or images please leave us a message.
