The time has come to sell "Winnie", our beautiful 1965 VW Beetle.Restored over a number of years, first by the previous owner and then by myself.This is an original Sheffield registered car that has spent most, if not all, of her life in Yorkshire.Her bodywork has absolutely no rust or rot.She still runs on 6 volt electrics and as you can see is totally stock.Not lowered or customised in any way.She has new interior including seat covers, headlining and carpets. She's fitted with NOS daymoulding fibreglass front Wings. She has a strong little 1200cc engine and the original Bosch starter motor has been completely refurbished. The original 5 stud wheels have been refurbished and fitted with new tyres.During her restoration she was fitted with new floor plans and sills. The doors shut with a lovely "thud" and there is no play in the hinges.Being 55 years old, she is tax & mot exempt.I have been in the VW scene for over 25 years and so I'm in no rush to sell.The sale is only to fund the restoration of our VW Camper. Serious offers will be considered.
