Due to a significant change in circumstances and sadly a family bereavement I have heavily reduced the price of the car to sell.

For sale is my 1976 Porsche 911 Coupe 2.7, in ice metallic green.  A genuine UK car, RHD and matching numbers, registered in October 1976.

I do have the original front boot carpets in good condition but have been taken out for the photo.  eBay only allows 12 photos annoyingly.  message me for a couple of hundred other images!

A freshly restored classic Porsche 911in a rare colour of ice metallic green (original and rare Porsche colour).  With original Porsche black watch tartan seats.

2.7-litre air-cooled flat-six with a five-speed manual transmission.

The car has had a bare-metal refurbishment, and its engine and gearbox were rebuilt by Hartech by a previous owner.

Electric windows.

Electric sunroof

Chrome window trim and headlight bezels (all original).

Correct staggered option 15-inch ‘cookie cutter' alloy wheels.  Some light scuffs on the surface but intentionally left unrestored to preserve their original anodised finish.

The car has recently undergone a rolling restoration, with the bodywork being stripped back to bare metal, had any rust repaired first on the exterior with rust protection and under-sealing inside. Then refinished in its original paint colour of Ice Green Metallic.

The side rocker covers / sill mouldings were kept off for a sleeker, more classic look.

There were professional repairs to the B-pillars, ‘kidney bowls', door shuts and wings.

Blaupunkt radio/cassette player with speakers.

The car has its original toolkit and a large file of papers, including documentation of its engine and gearbox rebuilds, invoices for its parts and maintenance, servicing over a vast period, past MOT test certificates dating back 26 years, plus bills for its recent restoration.

It also has 2 keys.

At the previous engine rebuild by Hartech, they also replaced the clutch and synchros, and overhauled the braking system. Hartech maintained and serviced the car under their lifetime maintenance plan between 2000 and 2014.

The car has been wax oiled to add further future protection.

The paint condition is immaculate.

Any damaged rubber components or seals were replaced, and new stainless-steel fasteners were used to affix the bumpers and trim items.

The interior is all original with a little fading but the damaged front seats have been professionally reupholstered with the correct Porsche material at a cost of over £1600.

Headlining was brand new at a cost of £1200 with new sun visors to match.

The condition of the rest of the interior and trim is excellent for the age and shows real preservation of the classic combination.

There were lots of other parts replaced including the exhaust pre-silencer, rear bumper, rear overriders, the bonnet dampers and various seals and trim items. All can be seen in the included bills.

Everything works on the car, it has a fresh clean MOT (even though it legally doesn't need one).  That being said, it is 45 years old so please do appreciate this is not a brand new car and the restoration has been focused on the body priority vsthe mechanics.

It is a very rare and original 2.7 engine often described as the best of the 911 engines.  It feels “zingy” and lively to drive.

While it is exempt due to its age, the car's last MOT test was completed on 8 July 2021 at 153,980 miles, resulting in a clean, first-time pass.

In June this year at approximately 153,800 miles some service work was completed including engine oil and filter, as well as the gearbox oil and the fan belt (all genuine Porsche branded).

Prior to this, the car was maintained by its previous owner; while this is not fully documented, services were carried out in 2020 and 2018.

Summary of some documented servicing:

Sep 2020 until present: Current ownership and many receipts for maintenance

I urge anyone to run an HPI check and the car comes back clean with good history. No plate changes, never stolen, no colour change, no import export, no write off.  It is just incredibly honest.

This is a 1976 which means that it is 45 years old. Do expect the car to be exceptional as it has had a bare metal restoration but also be realistic in that it is 45 years old!

As is always the case with these older cars, a documented higher mileage car is better than a poorly looked after lower mileage one.

And this has loads of documentation!

Yes, I'm open to offers so please feel free to get in touch and discuss.  And yes, I'm happy to discuss and chat if you would like to talk and hear more about the car.

Any questions, please just ask.  There is loads more to list but it is hard to put everything in the listing.  Message me with any questions on 07739 312 460 and I can share more pictures of the car, the underside and the restoration.

I have near 200 photos plus pictures of the restoration right the way through.

Being a 1976 it is FREE road tax, NO MOT due and also FREE ULEZ in London.

You're bidding to buy and not tyre kick. You can see I have spent a lot of time detailing everything I can above and I won't tolerate time wasters. Time wasters and non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay and blocked from bidding.

Car is for sale in the UK only.  If you are from overseas and have genuine interest in the car, please make contact first.  I appreciate there may be genuine reason for international sales, but you must contact me first.  I won't ship abroad - you have to collect.

I reserve the right to remove the car from auction at any time.

A £1000 deposit is required immediately after the auction ends by PayPal and the balance by bank transfer prior to collection only.

The car will not be released until the funds are cleared.

I welcome questions and viewing by appointment only with social distancing respected.

You have a huge amount of information here. I can also send several additional photographs on request. And I welcome you to take the opportunity to ask and view so therefore the sale is final and the car is sold with no warranty.

Good luck and happy bidding!
