For sale is my Porsche 944.  This car was garage kept by me for the past 15 years.  I never drove it in the winter time.  I meticulously took care of it over the years. Low mileage: only 87. 85.  This is a very fun car to drive.  The engine is in the front. and the transmission is in the rear.  This leads to a perfect balance of weight between the front and the rear.  When you drive this car around a turn. it is so balanced that it feels like you are on a track.  Original wheels with Michelin tires on it. plenty of tread on them.  The sunroof is so large that when you remove it. it feels like a convertible.  I have both the factory solid red sunroof as well as the glass aftermarket sunroof as well.  I have a folder with all the receipts from what was done over the years by myself as well as the prior owner.  It's a great car.  I just installed 2 new Porsche OEM engine mounts.  That alone cost me over a thousand dollars.  The only reason I'm selling it is I moved to the country and don't really have a place to store it.  Plus I now have a gravel driveway. and I think long term it would not be good for the paint.  It's a 30 year old car. so if you're expecting something that is brand new. this is not your car. Thanks for bidding.
Sorry for the pictures. it was drizzling rain just before I snapped them.

Someone asked me:  The add doesn't mention much about the condition is the car in good running order at this time? Do you know when the timing belt was last done? Also what is the rust situation like? Would you consider it able to make the drive to Massachusetts in its current condition? Thank you.
My reply:

The car is in GREAT running order! The timing belt was replaced more than once for maintenance purposes. I have a folder with all of the maintenance done. The timing belt as well as necessary seals and tensioner were replaced at 64. 43 miles according to the latest receipt I have. However. I could have sworn I replace it a few thousand miles ago yet can't find the darn receipt. I would consider it able to drive to California and back in it's current condition!
