A very rare opportunity to buy a British supplied and specification MG RV 8 .1982 examples of this car were built but only 300 were sold in this country, the vast majority were sold in japan and many of these are returning to this country and all bar one for sale today are imports..This Beauty was sold in September 1994 to a Cambridge Professor and has enjoyed a cosseted life since, i bought it from it's 4 th owner who'd owned it for 15 years and was always garaged and used very sparingly due to his wife's dislike of it as she did'nt like the noise !!!!!!!!!!I love it, gorgeous car to drive, But! i'm a big guy and it's a bit of a squeeze for me, i cannot drive it with the roof up and whilst my big feet can operate the pedals ok (i struggle in MX 5's due to the small pedal area) it's just a bit too cramped for more than a 40 mile jaunt and i'm a road tripper, if it's not comfortable for a 500 mile day then it's not going to work.The MG has never been painted, there is absolutely no corrosion present and the wheels are very good with only the slightest blemish that can be seen.It has a stainless steel exhaust system that gives it a lovely bass tone and gives it a great presence !I have just fitted spax argon gas shock absorbers all round and fiddled with the settings and

it's transformed the ride quality, Remember !!theres no power steering, wind up windows, no ABS, no traction control , it has a limited slip diff, 190 bhp and tons of torque, it's party piece is the ability to move away on tickover in 4 th gear and pull to 100 mph !! Astonishing!!!!the interior is completely original and undamaged with the only modification being a later cd player, the wood and leather is perfect but would'nt say no to a gentle clean, The tyres are as new but quite old being always garaged i have confidence in them.So, to sum up,A very rare MG RV 8, with very low mileage, in lovely condition and ready for immediate use having been mot tested (june 2022)and serviced within the last 600 miles ( mot advisory on oil leak from the engine and diff, there is a misting but really nothing to act on as mot testers have to record even the slightest trace of oil, there are no drips)The number plate comes with the car.The start bid is the lowest price for any MG RV 8 today apart from a scruffy 83,000 mile example.Bank transfer on collection.If you have a question then please call me rather than messaging on 07774 145606
