Hawk 289 Sebring // In Progress Project for sale

Type: Hawk 289 Sebring.
• Coachwork: Unstressed GRP construction, with extended wheel arch flares.
• Chassis: powder coated 3.5 inch round tube, with folded steel outriggers.
• Engine: 1976-1982 Rover 3.5 litre V 8 engine with performance camshaft, Edelbrock 500 cfm 4 barrel carb. Reconditioned LT 77 gearbox. Rebuilt by Jim Robinson of JRV 8.
• Engine bay: Custom laser-cut aluminium heat shielding • Front suspension: Independent, fully adjustable front suspension on MGB hubs and stub axles. Reconditioned 2.5 Mk II brake calipers with adjustable brake bias. Powder coated double tubular wishbone system, adjustable for castor and camber. Rose joints for anti roll bar.
• Rear suspension: Live axle, leaf springs with telescopic dampers. Reconditioned MGB drum brakes.
SVA Compatible windscreen with escutcheons and centre stay.
Aluminium side vents.
Custom wiring loom with relays, fuse box and immobiliser.
SVA Compatible headlights, side repeater lights, rear lights and reflectors.
Wiper motor kit.
Heater.
Large original style alloy racing cap and flange. Adaptor for hardtop.
Special tubular exhaust manifold for Rover V 8.
High capacity radiator with header tank and cooling fans.
Le Mans hardtop.
SVA Compatible dashboard dials.
