1931 Ford Model A Deluxe coupe.

The Deluxe version of the desirable coupe came with some nice factory extras that set it apart from the standard version.
Front marker lights/ running lights. These are functioning correctly and look cool at dusk. The front windscreen is a Safari screen and opens for ventilation. The door mirrors are also a feature included on the Deluxe. The rear screen has a winder and can be wound up and down. Nice if you wish to talk to someone in the Dicky seat. Factory wire wheels which we have had repainted from Black to the correct period colour. They really look impressive now. There is also many extras fitted to make this beautiful coupe stand out. Rear foldable luggage rack in chrome with wooden slats. The period luggage in black is the correct one shaped to accommodate the rear mounted spare wheel. Period Black and silver plates with new chrome surround. Side steps have been enhanced with correct aluminium step plates with the Ford logo. There is an electric windscreen wiper installed again period correct and functioning from a dash mounted switch. Front radiator chrome mesh stone guard. Period indicators have been fitted and the fronts are cleverly concealed within the headlights. They are operated with a period flashing inceptor stalk. The chrome Stork radiator cap has a temp gauge within it and it is functioning correctly as well as having an aftermarket temp gauge inside. The two tone paint finish which I would describe as Primrose is excellent and would stand proud at any event. However this is no trailer queen as this Model A drives brilliant and starts 1st time every time . Ive had approx 12 model A's and this is as good as ive ever driven . Please don't expect a Range Rover ride but this is a drive anywhere with confidence car. The standard features like hand throttle to adjust tick over RPM, functions correctly as does the advance and retard lever on the steering wheel too. Under the bonnet is very clean indeed and again some lovely period upgrades including the water pump which though looks identical to an original is sealed so no need to grease. The original dynamo has been replaced by much more efficient period alternator. There is also a fuel tap and a battery isolator.
This Model A Deluxe version is up there with the best i've owned it is cosmetically fantastic and looks fab in its Primrose paint, but it is also mechanically excellent and can be driven with confidence.
