My New Motor are delighted to offer this amazing opportunity to acquire the original MGB Roadster 1.8 featured in the 1972 classic film Sleuth starring Michael Caine & Lawrence Olivier (see pictures of car featured in film), The car was registed in 1972 and featured in multiple scenes within the film, the cars ownership ultimately returned back to the estate featured in the film (Athelhampton House and Gardens) until it was acquired by ourselves. It featured a full restoration in the late 1990 s and has had minimal usage sincs. This vehicle beneifits from stacks of service history and receipts. We do also have multiple photos of the vehicle featured in the estate and with Michael Caine with the paperwork. As you can see the car is in excellent condition for the age and drives lovely.
