Good bits;

Sought after 60s model.Rebuilt auto choke carb.Front disc brake conversion.Reconditioned steering box.New handbrake cables.New rear shoes & fitting kit.Good tyres all round.Totally solid car, no rot! Has had heater channels replaced professionally.Tax exempt.Mot exempt.Lowered suspension.New starter motor.All electrics work (granted there's not a lot).New cv bootFresh gearbox fluid.Lots of receipts and invoices.Old paperwork including original operating manual.Comes with some spares.Original spare wheel.V5c present.

Not so good bits;

It's to the individuals taste but I'm going to mention it anyway, the paintwork isn't the best as it has patina'd from the sun, a good machine polish would cure this but I personally didn't mind it as it added to its character.

There is slight paint blisters here and there it's nothing of any real concern but I'm just trying to describe as much as I can about the car.

The drivers door window works but skips when right at top so I would recommend a new reg, the quarter light window knob has also broken and the door itself does have rot in the bottom corner, I did plan to replace the lot in a one (replacement door with windows etc..).

Interior isn't exactly all original and is missing few pieces, the rear bench has faded with the sun.

I would like to class this as an honest little motor, as mentioned above the paint is patina'd which may not be to everyone's taste but I feel that these add to her character and quirkiness, there are small spots of blistering but with this in mind she is absolutely solid and any rust was cut out and replaced with new repair panels and under sealed at the same time back in 2016 and is dry stored. The worst of the car being as mentioned is the rust on driver door along with the window reg which still operates but just requires assistance when near the top.

She starts first time wether hot or cold, idles as expected, steers and stops brilliantly thanks to having new rear brakes, front disc conversion and a new recon'd steering box.

I have been as honest as I can about the car, please remember that this is a 53 year old car and so it's condition reflects this. I am in no rush to sell nor I do need to, I am not desperate for money and I do not require the space either, if I do not get what I want for it I have no problem leaving it in the garage and increasing in value. Reason for sale as she doesn't get used and I would prefer to see her being used as she was intended.
